History

The moniker Chadwick Falls is associated with a fascinating narrative. It developed from the phrases 'Chidku Jhaar,' where Chidku meant sparrows and Jhaar meant jharna to the locals. They dubbed it so since they believed that only birds, not humans, could reach the summit of the waterfall. Nevertheless, because it was challenging for British officials to say it correctly, it was modified as Chadwick. According to legend, a prominent doctor named Chadwick died by suicide from this place, which is why it is known as Chadwick. Regardless of how it earned its moniker, this sight epitomizes charm with its fascinating way as well as being a wonderful destination for visitors who want to get some cool breeze.
