The moniker Chadwick Falls is associated with a fascinating narrative. It developed from the phrases 'Chidku Jhaar,' where Chidku meant sparrows and Jhaar meant jharna to the locals. They dubbed it so since they believed that only birds, not humans, could reach the summit of the waterfall.
