History
According to Christ Church history, during the British rule in India, a large number of British people and Anglo Indians used to reside in Shimla. As most of these people were believers of Christianity, they wanted a church there to offer their prayers. Thus on September 9, 1884, the government laid the foundation stone of the Christ Church Shimla. The church became sanctified on January 10th, 1857 but was given license to conduct divine services on October 11, 1846. After a long 11 years of construction, the church was finally completed with a total cost of rupees 40,000 to 50,000. Among these, 12,000 were contributed by the government, while others were collected from private sources.
Architecture

These four windows signify four virtues of Christianity, charity, humility, fortitude and faith, hope, and patience. The church towers are about 90 feet tall and have a clock, a big brass church bell, and a set of tubular bells. There is also a fresco that surrounds. The chapel window.
