History
Named after the former Prime Minister of the country, Shri Lal Bahadur Shashtri Ji, this park cum circle is a place to visit. The Shastri circle Jodhpur was developed by the local authorities to provide a park for the locals with entertainment options. This circle is very small in size as compared to the Jawahar circle of the Pink city Jaipur, but one can say that it was inspired by the former.
There are various food joints outside the circle that offers mouth-watering food at very reasonable prices. This place suits everyone, be it family, friends, or a romantic couple.
The circle is surrounded by lush green trees and a variety of flowers are properly maintained in the garden.
Architecture
Located in one of the posh areas of the city, Shastri circle park is surrounded by huge trees on its circumference. There are multiple entries to the park. A beautiful circular walkway is available for joggers or runners. At the center of the park, there is a beautiful statue of the former Prime Minister of the country, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji. The statue stands tall on a 12ft tall platform.
There are various fountains surrounding the statue which looks magnificent with lighting.
